Leslie Grossman (Lauren)
Simon Rex (Jeff)

Amanda Bynes (Holly)
At 16, Holly, played by Amanda Bynes, is getting tired of moving from place to place. After her father's job is relocated again, she begs to live with her cool older sister Valerie. It might work out, if Holly's clumsy behavior and knack for getting into trouble doesn't ruin everything.

Amanda Bynes grew up in Thousand Oaks, Calif. She started her career early, performing in a comedy camp and showcases. Catching the eye of producers Brian Robbins and Dan Schneider, she was cast in Nickelodeon's "All That," where she remained for four seasons. In 1997 her performance on the show garnered a Cable Ace Award nomination.

Her talent for physical comedy came in handy when she hosted her own variety sketch show, "The Amanda Show," at the age of 12, the youngest performer to do so. Bynes has also hosted "Nickelennium," Nickelodeon's millennium celebration, "The Big Help," and the "Kids' Choice Awards" - of which she won the Favorite Television Actress honor three years in a row. She has been nominated for The Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Comedy Television Series.

On the big screen Bynes has starred in "Big Fat Liar" with Frankie Muniz and "What A Girl Wants," costarring Colin Firth and Kelly Preston. She lives in Southern California with her family and enjoys drawing, painting and writing. [back to top]

Jennie Garth (Valerie)
Valerie, played by Jennie Garth, loves her spacious and roommate-free apartment in New York, her public relations job and her boyfriend Jeff. That changes quickly when her little sister Holly moves in. The mishaps they fall into will test even a sister's love.

Jennie Garth was born in Urbana, Ill., and grew up on her family's horse farm with her six siblings. At the age of 13, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where she met her manager at a beauty pageant. Turning her energies toward acting, Garth convinced her parents that she needed to move to Los Angeles. She landed her first series, "A Brand New Life," costarring Barbara Eden.

Garth is best known for her role as Kelly Taylor on the long-running teen drama "Beverly Hills, 90210." She also appeared in the television movies "Without Consent," "Loss of Innocence" and Danielle Steel's "Star." She produced "An Unfinished Business," where she met her husband, actor Peter Facinelli ("Fastlane").

Jennie splits her time between Los Angeles and a home in Northern California with her husband, her daughters, Luca Bella and Lola Ray, and her horses. [back to top]

Guest appearances on "21 Jump Street," "Boston Public," "Felicity" and "NYPD Blue" followed. Jonathan is probably best known for his role as Jamal on "City Guys," a Saturday morning series.

His big screen credits include "High School High," "Unlawful Entry," and "Panther," directed by Mario Van Peebles. He can be seen in "The United States of Leland," costarring Kevin Spacey and Don Cheadle. In 2002, he was named a Super Bachelor by Ebony magazine.

Her initial foray into showbiz was as a director of one-act plays in a festival at Crossroads School, a performing arts high school in Los Angeles. She switched gears from director to actress during her senior year at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Grossman starred in a theatre production of Cereal! which was so successful that it made a one-year run off-Broadway. Subsequently, the play made its way to Los Angeles at the Hudson Theater.

Grossman's big-screen appearances include "Can't Hardly Wait" with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Seth Green, and "The Opposite of Sex" starring Christina Ricci and Lisa Kudrow. Her television credits include the HBO comedy "Real Friends" and guest appearances on "Nip/Tuck," "CSI" and "Any Day Now."
